A street level discharge is required where there is no means of ventilation through a mechanical riser and the only way to discharge the exhaust air is horizontally on street level. This process is better known as a street level discharge.
To achieve street level discharge, the exhaust air must be treated with a double pass electrostatic air cleaner and the remaining odour is treated with UV ozone application. The kitchen exhaust system can be designed to AS1668 parts 1 & 2 and certified to the BCA performance requirements.
