SUMINOYA JAPANESE BBQ

THE CHALLENGE

Complaints were made by nearby residence in regards to smoke and odours entering neighbouring buildings thus an AS 1668 alternative solution was implemented utilising an AOS electrostatic filtration system which was retrofitted into the kitchen ventilation system.

THE SOLUTION

AOS electrostatic precipitators (ESP) with uv ozone injection was implemented for effective smoke and odour control. The electrostatic air cleaner reduces ductwork cleaning maintenance and grease build up and therefore a double pass option unit was incorporated into the ductwork system to achieve higher filtration efficiency of 99.9%.

THE OUTCOME

The impact was clean and pure air being discharged on level 8 without causing any nuisance to residence in neighbouring buildings. All AOS electrostatic air cleaners with UV ozone was in compliance with AS 1668, BCA laws and strict Sydney city council regulations.
